L is for the way you look at me. His eyes looked up when she entered the room, her small hesitant steps echoing in the empty living room of 221B, stopping when she stood directly in front of him. Her expressions were always the same, a serene look on her face, a Mona Lisa smile etched on her pale face. He smiled back at her, marvelling at her choice of clothes, a sunny yellow dress. The tantrums had ceased when they had returned to London and she was well on her way to recovery. It had taken a lot of perseverance on her part and a lot of patience on his, but the result had been worth it. She was almost back to her previous shy and sweet self and he thanked his stars for that. O is for the only one I see. He stood up as she came closer, turning her around to zip up her dress and his hands lingered on the bare skin at the nape of her neck, toying with the clasp of her necklace, a simple silver chain with an anatomical heart of silver as the pendant. It had been a gift from him and he would never forget the way her eyes had lit up on receiving it. After that, it had been easy to make her listen to him when she would listen to no one elseor to make her calm down when she was in one of her frenzies. He had been more than pleased at this progress and had insisted on taking her back to London. Dr Drew had agreed, knowing that more than medicines, she required love and care which would bring her back to normal, though it would take time. V is very very extraordinary. A faint blush crept up her cheeks at his touch, making her look even lovelier than she already did. Her short black hair was tucked behind her ears, and the shorter strands tickled his fingers as she shook her head slightly, stifling a giggle. Unable to resist himself, he ducked and pressed a kiss to her exposed neck, making her turn around and give him a dazzling smile, one that made his heart swell. He wondered when he had become like this, letting his emotions get out of control at the merest stimulus. But then, it was the woman in his arms who was to blame. True, it had taken a ridiculous amount of time and both of them almost losing their minds to realise how he felt for her, but he was glad it had happened. Caring may not be an advantage according to his brother, but setting one's emotions free after years of keeping them weighed down was liberating in the truest sense. E is even more than anyone that you adore. His arms wrapped around her, holding her securely to him as hers wound around his neck hesitantly, holding the lapels of his tux. He leaned in till their foreheads rested against each other. 'Yu look beautiful' he whispered, and she smiled shyly, muttering a thank you before pecking him on the lips slightly. Her hand grasped his and he intertwined their fingers, pulling her to the door so that they could go downstairs to get a cab to St. Mary's church, where John and Mary awaited their Best Man and Maid of Honour.
